Tutka Bay Lagoon Thousands of pink salmon returning annually to the Tutka Hatchery enter the lagoon prior to moving upstream to spawn. This staging period offers the angler excellent fishing opportunities. The run peaks here the first two weeks of July and is only accessible by boat. Captain Dick and staff will be happy to provide transportation and fishing gear for your party. Eldred Passage Fish for halibut in the protected waters of Dick's neighborhood. You never know what you might bring up- fish from 3 to 300 lbs have come from Tutka Bay. The scenery's great. And the water's always mellow so no one gets sea sick.
